Summary

8.8

Let me start off by saying I love the Riu Brand Hotels. I’ve stayed in Riu Hotels in Cancun, Cabo San Lucas and now I’ve added Jamaica to this list. Whenever I travel to the Caribbean and Mexico I look for Riu Brands. So when it was time to book a group trip to Jamaica I knew exactly where I wanted to stay. I just had to pick location I wanted to stay as there are usually multiple locations. This trip I settled on the 5 star Riu Palace Jamaica in Montego Bay.

Accommodations

The rooms were very nice. Immaculate. Very clean. Modern and chic. The floor plan was really open and I would prefer a partition to separate the bathroom from the rest of the room. It doesn’t offer much privacy to take a bath if you sharing a room.

Staff and Customer Service

Throughout my stay the staff made my stay memorable. I know I should not be lusting over the staff but they had some of the finest men I’ve ever seen working at this hotel. Very sexy and very charming. I swear they had to go through charm school before they could get a job there.

Food & Dining

The restaurants were great. I loved the food in each restaurant. I loved that you did not have to have reservations. That sat you as soon as you walked in.  I would say my favorite restaurant was the Italian Restaurant. My least favorite was the Japenese. I don’t know why. I guess the menu just wasn’t all that appealing. However, my ultimate favorite meal was Jamaican Night. All you can eat Oxtails is un heard of. Everything was authentic and delicious.

Property

This was one of the most gorgeous properties I’ve ever stayed.  It was right on a beautiful white sand beach. Beautiful modern decor. Very clean.
